Credit Terms In addition to C.O.D. terms, SYNNEX offers net terms to help you manage your cash flow. Net terms are available by completing the credit section of the reseller credit application and sending it to your regional SYNNEX Financial Services group for approval. Your application will be processed normally within seven (7) business days and you will be informed in writing of our decision. It would be advantageous to submit a copy of your most recent audited financial statements to aid us in providing the highest possible line of credit.
For our existing clients who wish to apply for a higher credit limit, updated financial statements will be requested as well as annual completion of the reseller credit application in order that our records can be continually updated.
For both new and existing clients where credit lines granted do not meet your expectations, please note some of the additional securities that we might request in order to reach the desired level:
Standby Letter of Credit – This allows you to purchase product above your credit line or if you do not have net terms. We can provide you with a Letter of Credit form you can take to your bank. Upon receiving back the Letter of Credit form from your bank, we can ship product up to the dollar amount assigned without affecting your credit line.
Cross-Corporate Guarantee – Offers you the ability to increase your credit line if your company is a subsidiary of another corporation. In addition, a corporate guarantee may be an option in cases where companies share common ownership and credit may be granted on the overall strength of all the companies.
Personal Guarantee – If your company is newly established or, because of tax reasons, profit may not be retained in the business, we can offer this option based on personal support by principals or investors in your business. A personal financial statement must be completed and sent for assessment to SYNNEX in advance, to allow the necessary credit investigations.
Subordination Agreements – If your company is capitalized through loans rather than equity, we can work with you through a subordination agreement to provide you with the needed credit line.
General Security Agreement – This provides SYNNEX security over all the assets of a company. In turn it allows SYNNEX to provide higher credit lines or alternative financing that it normally could not provide.
Purchase Money Security Interest (P.M.S.I.) – Similar to a General Security Interest except that this is used only for specific orders and SYNNEX would have security over the inventory and receivable pertaining to that inventory. This security allows SYNNEX to support one-off orders that fall outside normal credit limit parameters.
SYNNEX is pleased to offer a number of alternative financing programs outside of our normal terms account offerings. These can be used when your credit limit does not meet the requirements of that special large order or similarly, you want to keep the credit line for your normal day-to-day business.
