Dennis Polk is President and Chief Executive Officer and has served in this capacity since March 2018. Mr. Polk is also a Director since his appointment February 2012. Previously he served as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance since joining the Company in February 2002. Mr. Polk received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Santa Clara University.

Peter Larocque is President, North American Technology Solutions and has served in this capacity since November 2013, having previously served as President of U.S. Distribution since July 2006, Executive Vice President of Distribution since June 2001, and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing from September 1997 until June 2001. Mr. Larocque is responsible for SYNNEX’ North American distribution business. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario, Canada.

In March 2009, Mr. Martin was appointed President, SYNNEX Canada Limited with full P & L responsibility for the Canadian Business. Prior to this, he served as President, Broadline Division for SYNNEX Canada.

Mr. Martin joined Merisel Canada's Products department in 1989 where he was instrumental in moving many of the industry's largest suppliers to a two-tiered distribution system. In 1999, he became the Senior Vice President of Product and Inventory Management for Merisel Americas based in El Segundo, California. In 2000, he returned to Canada as President, Merisel Canada.Mr. Martin graduated from York University in Toronto with a Master's degree in Business Administration, with emphasis in the areas of product marketing and product management.

Alan Buttery is Senior Vice President, Financial Operations. He joined SYNNEX in 1997, and his roles have expanded over time to include responsibility for North America Financial Solutions, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, and responsibility for U.S. Accounts Payable. Mr. Buttery provides additional support to other SYNNEX business units including Concentrix and SYNNEX Infotec Japan, and he continues to develop innovative financial solutions for all of our constituents. Mr. Buttery has over 20 years of financial operations experience including work in the banking industry. Mr. Buttery holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management of Human Resources from Central Wesleyan College and a Master’s of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business from the University of South Carolina.

Debra LaTourette, who currently serves as SYNNEX Corporation’s Senior Vice President, Human Resources North America, began her career with SYNNEX in July of 2004 when she joined as Vice President, Human Resources. She was promoted to Senior Vice President, Human Resources North America in December 2011. Prior to SYNNEX, she held a number of human resource management positions and, during her tenure as Vice President of Human Resources of Sears, she successfully merged the Sears Hardware and Orchard Supply Hardware HR organizations, creating a single, 12,000-employee division of Sears. In addition to more than 30 years of HR management experience, Ms. LaTourette also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California.

Robert Stegner joined SYNNEX Corporation as Senior Vice President, Marketing, North America, in September 2007. He is responsible for all marketing efforts in the United States and Canada. With over 25 years of progressive channel marketing/sales management experience, Mr. Stegner is a seasoned professional whose marketing leadership has generated tremendous results throughout his career.

Prior to joining SYNNEX, Mr. Stegner most recently served as Vice President of Worldwide Market Development for Ingram Micro Inc. Prior to that, at Ingram Micro, he was Vice President of North American Channel Marketing and U.S. Product Marketing, where he led the U.S. product marketing team in developing programs, goals, and strategies. He was responsible for all channel programs focused on the small-to-medium business (SMB) and the government/education markets, as well as, reseller services.
Shawn Ardiel, Vice President, Product Management & Business Development

Mr. Ardiel started his IT distribution career in Inside Sales with Merisel Canada, in 1999. In 2001, SYNNEX Corporation acquired Merisel and Mr. Ardiel became a corporate trainer, training hundreds of employees sales and operational processes across North America In 2004, building on this experience and inside sales background, Mr. Ardiel was promoted to Inside Sales Manager, successfully leading... an inside sales team in Canada, focused on selling to thousands of Small to Medium Sized Value-Added Resellers in the United States.

In 2006, Mr. Ardiel returned to his roots within the Canadian market and joined Mark Hardy’s Canadian Product Management team. Here Mr. Ardiel distinguished himself as a leader with vendor partners and team members, embracing evolution within IT, successfully growing partner business, advancing him in 2009 to Manager, in 2011 to Director and then to Senior Director, Product Management in 2013. On November 1, 2018, Mr. Ardiel assumed the role of Vice President, Sales, focusing on driving services and cross sales between our Westcon-Comstor Division and our Legacy SYNNEX Divisions. Mr. Ardiel studied Advertising and Marketing at Georgian College in Barrie ON.
Michael Dunne

Mr. Dunne joined SYNNEX Canada Ltd. in December 1994 as an Inside Sales Representative. Since that time, he has held various positions in the company, including Director of Inside Sales, Director of National Accounts and Director of Business Development.

Prior to his employment at SYNNEX, Mr. Dunne held management positions at a Value Added Reseller and at an automobile dealership. In 1985, he graduated from York University in Toronto, Ontario with a degree in Mathematics for Commerce.

Mr. Hardy joined the SYNNEX Canada team in 1998 and has held progressive positions in both Marketing and Product Management. Mr. Hardy was promoted to lead the Product Management team in 2005 and was promoted to his current title in 2007.

Prior to joining SYNNEX, Mr. Hardy spent more than 10 years in both distribution and retail roles. Mr. Hardy holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph with emphasis in several disciplines.

Jim Kapogianis, Vice President, Retail Sales

In November 2008, Mr. Kapogianis joined SYNNEX as Director, Sales as part of the Jack Of All Games acquisition, where he also held the role of Director of Sales. In June 2016, he was appointed Vice President, Retail Sales and is responsible for helping shape and grow SYNNEX Canada’s leadership position in the Canadian Retail Channel.

Mr. Kapogianis has over 25 years of experience in the North American Retail Industry, where he has held leadership positions at IBM, Take 2 Interactive and Atari. In his 10 year tenure at IBM Canada, Mr. Kapogianis was instrumental in the growth of IBM Canada’s retail presence by helping with all aspects of the expansion of the IBM Store footprint. He has spent time in the US managing Take 2 Interactive and Atari’s largest retails partners, and he has also spent several years in the online channel with Groove Interactive, a Canadian Startup. Mr. Kapogianis was instrumental in the launch and continued success of SYNNEX Canada’s Industry Leading Retail Revolution Event, designed specifically to help the Retail community engage with the leading edge vendor community at SYNNEX.

Pierre D. Montminy, Vice President, Retail Product Management

Mr. Montminy joined SYNNEX Canada in December, 2010 as Vice-President of Retail Product Management with responsibility for consumer electronics and retail software vendors.

Prior to that, Mr. Montminy held senior positions with IBM for 26 years in Sales, Marketing, and Channel Management at both a North American and a Global level. Mr. Montminy earned a Bachelor's degree and a Master's Degree of Applied Science in Engineering from Laval University in Quebec.
Emily Ignoto, Vice President, Finance

Emily Ignoto joined the team at Merisel Canada in June 1992 as an accounts payable analyst. In 1999, she was given North American responsibility to oversee vendor statement reconciliation for Merisel vendor partners. She played a key role as part of the Executive committee during the SYNNEX acquisition of Merisel to help successfully transition over the business and has subsequently been involved in every SYNNEX acquisition since that time. Emily progressed through several management positions at SYNNEX Canada and in 2000 was promoted to Director of Vendor Finance. In 2006, her team was expanded to include the Purchasing and Vendor Claims departments while still maintaining the responsibility for the Accounts Payable department. Emily was promoted to her current position of Vice President of Finance Operations for SYNNEX Canada in 2007. Before launching her career, Emily studied Business Management at Ryerson University and also earned a diploma in Accounting from Seneca College in Toronto.
Russ Brown, Vice President, Sales

Mr. Brown began his IT distribution career with Merisel in 1999 as an Inside Sales Representative.

In 2001, SYNNEX Corporation acquired Merisel, where Russ has held several progressive positions with the Sales Division. In his role as National/DMR and Director he was instrumental in leading a new division which became dedicated to driving sales with strategic National and DMR resellers. Mr. Brown is a three-time President’s Club Award winner. He earned this prestigious award for the first time in 2010 as a Sales Manager, he won the award again in 2016 after being promoted to Sales Director and again for a third time when he held the position of Sr. Sales Director in 2018.

Among his accomplishments as Senior Director, Commercial Sales, Mr. Brown was responsible for helping shape and expand the customer base on the SYNNEX legacy portfolio while introducing them to a broader portfolio available to them via the acquisition of Westcon-Comstor including UCC, Security and Networking.

Mr. Brown is currently Vice President Commercial Sales.
